Get started with Tuxopay

Welcome to Tuxopay! This guide will help you set up your first shop and start accepting payments.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Tuxopay account (if you don't have one, sign up here)
  • Access to your Tuxopay dashboard
  • Plugin for woocommerce or API

Setting Up Your Shop

A shop in Tuxopay represents a payment provider associated with your business. Currently, we support two payment providers:

Available Payment Providers

  • Stripe - Industry-leading payment processor with global reach
  • Whop - Specialized platform for digital products and subscriptions

Creating Your First Shop

  1. Log in to your Tuxopay dashboard

    Navigate to orchestrator.tuxopay.com and sign in with your credentials.

  2. Create a new shop

    Navigate to the shops section in your dashboard and create a new shop.

  3. Choose your payment provider

    Select either Stripe or Whop based on your business needs:

    • Choose Stripe if you need comprehensive payment processing with support for cards, wallets, and bank transfers
    • Choose Whop if you're selling digital products, subscriptions, or need specialized features for online creators
  4. Follow the setup guide

    Once you've selected your payment provider, follow the detailed setup guide that appears on the creation page. This guide will walk you through:

    • Provider-specific configuration steps
    • Required credentials and API keys
    • Webhook setup instructions

    The setup guide is tailored to your chosen provider and will ensure you have everything configured correctly.

  5. Complete the integration

    Follow all steps in the setup guide until your shop is fully configured and ready to accept payments.
